You know the numbers in your business.

You're just not sure what to do differently.

Most dance school owners aren't short of effort. You're teaching, timetabling, chasing fees, covering classes, planning the show and answering parents at ten o'clock at night. The work is not the problem.

The problem is that doing more of it doesn't seem to move the number at the bottom.

In nine months, Breeze de Albuquerque took her school from around £30,000 to £100,000.

Same industry. Same hours in the day. Same parents, same halls, same competition down the road.

This session is about what actually changed.

what we'll cover

This isn't a presentation with a polished slide deck.

It's an interview, and Deborah asks the direct questions:

What was really going on before.

The numbers, the hours, and the point at which Breeze decided something had to change.

The first thing she changed

— and why it wasn't the thing most people would guess.

Pricing.

What she was charging, what she moved to, and how she handled the parent conversations she was dreading.

What she stopped doing.

The classes, habits and commitments that were quietly costing her money.

Where the growth actually came from

— new families, existing families, or somewhere else entirely.

What she got wrong on the way,

and what she'd do differently with hindsight.

The bit nobody talks about:

what it felt like to make those decisions when the money hadn't arrived yet.

who is this for

This session will be useful if you:

*Run a dance school and want to grow without simply adding more classes

*Feel busy but can't see the growth in your bank account

*Know your pricing is probably wrong but don't know where to start

*Have been meaning to look at the business side properly for a while now

It won't be useful if you're looking for a fixed formula. Breeze's route worked for her school, in her town, with her students.

What we're after is the thinking behind the decisions — not a template.

about Breeze

Breeze de Albuquerque runs The Miss Breeze School of Dance, with classes in Witney and Clifton Hampden in Oxfordshire.

Her students perform in shows, enter competitions, and work through graded exams and medals.

She's not a coach or a consultant.

She's a dance school owner who was where you are, and who has spent the last year proving what's possible without moving to a bigger venue or working longer hours.
